Picture taking and photo storage is about memories. Although photos are some of our most precious possessions, too often they are hidden from view, tucked in drawers of packed away in boxes. The memories, along with the captured images, can deteriorate and be lost or forgotten. This project ensures that such losses are avoided and that your memories are cherished.

Materials

•	(1) 100 page Pioneer Photo Memories scrapbook
•	craft scissors
•	double sided photo mounts
•	(3) sheets of Pioneer's Photo Memories colored matte paper
•	Pioneer's Photo Memories project sheet
•	Pioneer's Photo Memories paper photo templates

Instructions

1. PHOTOS: Gather all your photos and separate them by theme, subject or in chronological order. Also, collect any newspaper clippings, awards, ribbons and announcements that may tie in with your photos or theme.

2. THEMES: Each Photo Memories Album can be devoted to one subject or them, or divided into several themes. Because Pioneer's scrapbooks have unlimited refill capacity, you can add refill pages as your memories multiply.

3. CROPPING: While reviewing your pictures, you may recognize unnecessary blank space in our photos. Cutting away these unwanted or distracting images will focus attention back on the desired subject. You may also want to use the photo templates and scissors included with this kit to add decorative shapes and edges to your photos.

4. LAY-OUT: It is best to work with a two page lay-out. After selecting the photos and deciding how you will crop or matte each picture, experiment and arrange the images until you get a setting that pleases you. Be sure to allow space for writing narratives or placing special mementos.

5. Besides using the colored paper for making mattes and borders, you may also want to use some of the following products to add a personal touch to your Photo Memories Album: Rubber stamps, stencils, decorative stickers, colored markers, assorted paper edgers or additional colored papers.
